TO THE SEA

The Sea is unique enough to have inspired the finest poems and pieces of art throughout history. This does not only apply to the act of sailing like in Homer's Odyssey, but even to the fact of living with an eye on the sea, which means having a specific mindset moulded by space, by waves and by seagull's voice, just think of Joyce's Dubliners.

This uniqueness arises also in peculiar architecture structures or simple shapes which belong to the Sea and the Sea alone, till the extent that when we see them in a postcard we can feel the breeze and smell the sent of the Sea.

The Sea then is one of those places which become themselves an inner matter, to the point that you don't know whether you are looking outside or projecting what you are feeling inside. This project is a tribute to the evocative power of the Sea's shapes, colors and mood.
