DETAILS

My love for details is definitely very deep. I have always found it fascinating how fragments of objects and life contain the potential to tell a whole story, a sensation, a vision.

For me, details mean concentration, contemplation and also saturation of a concept or an emotion capable of leaving a visible trace in the soul.

Extracted from its context, a detail becomes symbol and suggestion, abstraction from reality and a potential incentive of reflection.

The paradox opens and closes within a perfect circle where the beginning is the observation of a small part and the end is the elaboration of a thought, an emotion, a reflection on universal themes. Here is the synecdoche, the part to tell the whole or, more precisely, the part as a tension towards the whole.
